Scheme of Studies

The school has classes from II – XII and prepare students for the All India Senior Secondary Examination of CBSE, Delhi. The medium of instruction is English.

 

Academic Year :

The academic year begins in March and finishes in December, it is divided into two terms.

  • March to June
  • July to December (1st Week)

The annual examination for classes II – X are held in the month of December whereas the examinations for Class XI is held in February and XII is conducted by the CBSE (CentralBoard of Secondary Education). It takes place in the month of March. The school has a short monsoon break of about 2 weeks in June and long winter vacations for the months of December, January and February.

 

Admissions

Depending upon vacancies, admission from classes II –IX for the session commencing from March, is granted on the basis of an admission test-cum- interview, in January and February. No admission is made to class X and XII. Guardians are required to get the names of their wards registered in advance by filling in the registration form & paying the registration fees, as per the stipulations in the registration form. The school does not accept any donation for admissions.

All new entrants shall have to produce transfer certificate from the school last attended within a period of 15 days of their joining the school. They are also required to produce a medical certificate to the effect that they are free from all contagious and infectious diseases and are otherwise physically fit enough to be admitted to a residential school. A student would be sent home if found medically unfit later or is unable to take part in games and other co-curricular activities. The parents have to give a written undertaking to this effect. The admission of student is valid upto class X.

 

Promotions

Promotion to the higher class is done at the end of the annual examination. According to the promotion policy, finalized by the examination committee.

Normally a boy is required to secure 33 in each subject and 40% in the aggregate in the lower classes. For classes IX and X the referred limits is of 40% and 60% respectively.
